  • Marked the beginning of our journey with the inauguration of the Transistor Clock (Magnate & Pendle) by Ajanta Transistor Clock Mfg. Co.

1978

  • Revolutionized the market with the introduction of the winding mechanical wall clock.

1980

  • Enhanced convenience with the launch of the mechanical “one-day” alarm timepiece.

1985

  • Pioneered the adoption of Quartz technology from Germany and Japan under the Ajanta Quartz.

1990

  • Earned national recognition by winning the ESC Award for Highest Export in Electronics for 10 consecutive years, presented by the Ministry of Communication & Information Technology (Govt. of India).

1992

  • Ventured into renewable energy with the establishment of our 1st windmill, DHANK (Upleta).

1993

  • Achieved a global milestone with the inauguration of the world’s largest clock manufacturing facility.

1994

  • Diversified our product portfolio by introducing an extensive range of Quartz alarms, calculators, and telephone products.

1996

  • Proudly celebrated our Silver Jubilee, commemorating 25 years of excellence.

1999

Entered the home appliances segment with a wide range of kitchenware.

2001

  • Revolutionized the market by introducing CFL lamps with a 1-year guarantee, a first in India.

2002

Secured a world record for producing an astonishing 136,928,872 pieces of clocks and timepieces.

2003

  • Pioneered the innovation of the digital clock, redefining precision and style.

2004

Contributed to energy conservation by producing 225,000 CFL lamps daily, resulting in significant electricity savings for the nation.

2005

  • Laid the foundation of a new empire at Samkhiyari (Kutch), spanning 180 acres, and launched the iconic OREVA brand with lighting products and vitrified tiles.

2006

  • Expanded our horizons with a diverse range of electrical products.

2007

  • Took a step towards green mobility by setting up an eco-friendly E-bike plant at Samkhiyari (Kutch).

2011

Advanced into sustainable energy solutions with the launch of our hydro plant.

  • Aligned with the “Atmanirbhar Bharat” initiative by commencing in-house production of the Mosquito Killer Racket, reducing dependency on Chinese imports.
